▌AODB (Airport Operation DataBase)

Contains all flight relevant information, infrastructure information, resource and plan such as relevant allocation of resources to specific flights (gate, check in row, belt, stand…..)

▌DCS (Departure Control System)

Airline owned system which allow check in, boarding pass print and check, reconciliation, weight and balance, boarding procedures

▌Common Use Terminal (CUTE), Common Use Passenger Processing (CUPPS)

Airport owned IT system which allows different airlines using different DCS to use the same physical equipment (printer, counter, screens, doc readers) in the airport

▌Common Use Self Service (CUSS, aka Check In Kiosk, Bag Drop)

Airport owned IT system embedded into an equipment (a Kiosk or a bag drop) that allows any airline to use the equipment interfacing its own DCS
